Porfolio Positions
How My Events Portfolio Will Be Structured.
Having a clearly structured portfolio will help produce the best events, working on several aspects in advance, and being able to produce various different events simultaniously.

AVP Social Events
This Associate Vice President oversees all social events, planning and organizing with the VP, and overseeing the execution of the event itself.
This position will have creative freedom to plan some events, and lead a team of comissioners to ensure all social events are set up and excecuted to their best capacity.
This role will also work closely with the beaver dam assistant manager to set up live music nights and other beaver dam hosted events.

AVP Academic Events
The Associate Vice President of Academic Events oversees the planning, organizing and executing of all academic events, working with a team to ensure they are successful.
This position will collaborate with other portfolios, student engagement, library and learning services, faculty, and many other parts of Huron to creaet events which help students through their academic journey.

HK RELAY Chairs (2)
HK Relay for Life is huron and Kings joint effort to fundraise money for the Canadian Cancer Society.
This position is in charge of coordinating with their kings equivalent to create events to fundraise for the cause, having the support of the events portfolio for planning, organizing and executing said events.

Fashion Show Coordinator
The lead coordinator in charge of the charity fashion show!
This position will be in charge of hiring coordinators, models, makeup-artists, and the overall organization of the event.

Grad Banquet / Huron Ball Coordinators (2) and
(1) commissioner
Responsible for planning and managing the Grad Banquet/Huron Ball, including coordinating with vendors, organizing ticket sales, and creating a detailed event schedule. Ensures a memorable and well-executed celebration for graduating students.

Event Commissioners (5+)
The heart and soul of the events portfolio.
These positions are in charge of helping set up, promote, and execute all events udner the portfolio.
This position works under either AVP, helping coordinate and execute their events and making them as best as they can be.

Events Attendance & Analytics Coordinator
A coordinator who appart from their general duties, will have the extra duty of tracking event attendance, participation and details.
This position will then prepare these statistics so they can be shared with the General Assambley and the huron student body, letting everyone know how many people attended to our events and how much they were enjoyed!
